Bangolf Arena Public Internet

Introduction

Using Bangolf Arena in Public Internet mode is a method to have Live Scoring in a Tournament without requiring dedicated tablets or a WiFi network that covers the course. In this mode players could use mobile devices to register scores using a mobile network or any WiFi network (regardless of whether there is a computer running Bangolf Arena).

In this guide I will explain how players can register their scores and how they should prepare for a Tournament.

To begin this guide will explain preparation that must be done on Anroid and on iPhones. Players should do this preparation at home, before the Tournament. Then this guide will explain how to prepare for entering scores, this step should be done by the first player in each group, five minutes before the start of their round.

Finally there is a demo Tournament that players can use to practice this procedure. It is impossible to break the demo Tournament, so players can feel free to experiment as much as they like. The demo Tournament should always be running, so players can start now!

1: Phone Preparation

1.1: Android

Players with an Android phone must download and install the DuckDuckGo web browser. To do this, first navigate to the Play Store, search for DuckDuckGo and install it.

Players with an Android phone will use DuckDuckGo to register the scores for a group. Players should make sure they can launch it on their Android phones before the Tournament.

1.1: iPhone

The iPhone should come pre-installed with a web browser that can be used to register scores. This is the default web browser named Safari. Players should make sure they can launch it before the Tournament.

Finally, if all players are correct and in the correct order select Confirm order, round and lane.
